Our Story
Rustemeyer Plumbing and Heating has proudly served our community for generations. What began in the 1960s as a way for founder Leonard Rustemeyer to support his growing family soon became a full-time plumbing business built on hard work, honesty, and exceptional service. As the company grew, HVAC services were added, making Rustemeyer a trusted source for complete home comfort solutions.
Today, the business is proudly led by third-generation owner Troy Hayward, who has been part of the company since high school. With the recent addition of his son, Elliott, the Rustemeyer family legacy continues into a fourth generation.
Our small, dedicated team believes in providing the kind of personalized service that’s hard to find. Whether you need plumbing repairs, HVAC installation or replacement, new construction services, or supplies from our fully stocked retail store, you can count on knowledgeable professionals who treat every customer like family.
For more than 60 years, we’ve remained committed to quality workmanship, dependable service, and building lasting relationships with the customers and communities we serve.

Troy Hayward
Troy Hayward is the third-generation owner of Rustemeyer Plumbing and Heating. He started working in the family business during high school, focusing on HVAC, and has spent his career learning the trade from the ground up. In 2019, he took ownership of the company his grandfather founded. Customers know Troy for his hands-on approach and his commitment to doing the job right, the same standard the Rustemeyer name has stood behind since the 1960s. Today he’s joined by his son Elliott, who came on board after completing trade school for HVAC.
